What is a Giclee Print?

Giclée (jhee-clay) – from the French word Giclée meaning a fine spray or squirt of liquid.

Giclée printing is a recent development in printmaking technology. Images are high resolution digital scans printed with archival quality inks onto various surfaces including canvas or fine art paper. The Giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. Giclée has become the accepted printing method for many international Galleries and Artists.

Morrigan Press produces incredibly detailed fine art prints on fine art paper or canvas surfaces, and varying in sizes. We generally offer standard size ****** the actual format being dependant on the size of the original painting. We can supply individual sizes dependent on the client’s requirements. Just ask for details.

Image permanence is a concern to artists and collectors. At Morrigan Press we use inks which are very stable, giving fade & color shift resistance of 75 years on fine art substrates under average indoor light conditions.

Any print may be returned, for a full-refund (excluding postage) if the customer is dissatisfied for any reason.
